I installed the Spearhead Self Timing Muzzle Brake 3 Port on my Thompson Center Encore 30-30 AI SSK barrel and it does help to reduce the recoil. Easy to install and the black version looks great on the brushed stainless steel barrel. It’s also great that it’s Canadian made. This eliminates the shipping hassles from the US.

I ordered one of these through Tactical Ordnance to install on my Savage .22 WMR. The rifle was already a tack driver, and the brake eliminated what little muzzle movement there was, enabling faster follow up shots and even more shooting comfort when getting to high round counts (because that round is just so much fun!)
