Muzzle Brake installation instructions.
Ensure firearm is completely unloaded prior to installation.
Ensure the muzzle brake bore matches or exceeds your caliber of use.
Remove factory thread protector/muzzle device.
Remove factory O-Ring on muzzle threads if present.
Install muzzle brake and hand tighten with tensioning key. Use key on ports closer to crown of muzzle brake.
Remove tensioning key from muzzle brake after tightening.

I cannot imagine why any owner of this fine rifle would NOT purchase this brake. I got mine through Tactical Ordnance in the satin finish and it matches up with the barrel perfectly. My rifle is in the 45-70 Government caliber and even the 300 grain rounds have a fair bit of recoil. The brake DEFINITELY makes a difference. For me, it changes the number of rounds I can shoot in a sequence and I did not need to change the factory pad on the stock. The 45-70 still kicks like a mule, but is much more pleasant to shoot with the brake installed.
